Exploring Athens

Our first stop was Athens and we only had a day before moving on to the next city so we wanted to see as much as possible! Thankfully, the city is very walkable and we were able to see some of its best spots in a matter of hours!

Acropolis

I love old ruins and the Acropolis area was one of the stops I was most excited for! It was amazing to finally get to see the Parthenon in real life and get to check out the amazing views of the entire city. It was also great that the Acropolis was visible from most rooftops in the city so we had really great back drops for all our pictures!

Plaka and Monastiraki

These two neighborhoods in Athens provided some awesome shopping and dining experiences! We were able to checkout the Flea Market at Monastiraki and the busy cafes all around Plaka.
