Meteora

As we may have mentioned before, of all the things we saw in Greece, Meteora was definitely our favorite! Everywhere we turned we saw something that made our jaw drop completely and all the people we met there were incredibly sweet! 

Hermits and Monasteries

Learning about Hermits and their lifestyle as well as visiting the Monasteries built by the monks thousands  of years ago was very eye opening! We couldn't believe the Hermits spent their entire life in a cave! Also, after making the hike up hundreds of stairs to the monasteries it was impossible to understand how these were built with no help from modern technology!

Mountains and Hiking

Everywhere went around Meteora, there were beautiful mountains surrounding us and the area is well know for having some great hiking trails and mountain climbing! We definitely wanted to take advantage and managed to explore many different mountain areas around the city!
